Angular: Convert XML To JSON

If you use angular-cli to bootstrap your application - it comes already with node module to convert xml.

So you do not need to add extra modules for this. As it is classic commonJS module - you need use require to import it:

let parseString = require('xml2js').parseString;

So your code can looks like:

let parseString = require('xml2js').parseString; let xml = "<root>Hello xml2js!</root>"  parseString(xml, function (err, result) {   console.dir(result); });

You will receive next output:

In any cases - if you even do not use angular-clior want to use your preffered module to parse xml - use require to load it.

Answer : if anyone pass through here, this is shorter solution: sudo chown -R $USER $HOME/.composer it seems to me the group information is missing in your command sudo chown -R <user> /home/<user>/.composer/cache/repo/https---packagist.org Shoud be sudo chown -R <user>:<group> /home/<user>/.composer/cache/repo/https---packagist.org But to avoid other permission issues, I would rather advise: sudo chown -R <user>:<group> /home/<user>/.composer/cache (you'll need access to other folders in there) and sudo chown <user>:<group> /home/<user>/.composer To make sure your user has permissions enough on the global composer folder.
